We offer great topics delivered by reputable presenters to address some of the questions you may have.

  • Week 1 – Purging Your Kitchen – Discussion on how to prepare for the cleanse, review of macronutrients, alternative names for sugars, the inflammatory effects of sugar and it’s effect on our liver and our waistline.
  • Week 2 – Grocery Store Tour – Reviewing labels to reveal hidden sugars and preservatives, discussion on choosing healthier meats, eggs, dairy and dairy substitutes, discussion on buying organic vs. conventional produce.
  • Week 3 – The Great Fat Debate – The scoop on different protein powders, smoothies and juicing. Discussion on the importance of healthy fats, including our intake of omega-3 vs. omega-6 and saturated vs. unsaturated fats.
  • Week 4 – Why We Are Hooked – The effect of sugar and sugar substitutes on our hormones and neurotransmitters, review of participant’s experiences throughout the program. Discussion on how to break the cleanse and implement sustainable lifestyle healthy changes.

Restorative yoga can help boost immunity, especially in times of stress and other health challenges. This workshop will focus on Restorative yoga poses that help strengthen and nourish the immune system. Instructors will guide understanding of the immune system’s function and yoga’s role in supporting it. Previous yoga experience is helpful but not necessary.
