Through our many recreational activities, you’re bound to meet fellow members who share your interests. Work one of our recreational programs into your routine for some additional variety, challenge, and fun. Recreation activities may be available at other times. Check with staff for details.

On the Heart Throbs Running Club, a member says:

“We meet once a week, and there’s also a group of us who meet up to work out at other times as well. I’ve made some nice friendships and there’s always someone to run with. The fellowship is great.”

An odd-sounding racquet sport that combines the speed of tennis with the skills of badminton.

Line Dancing

Join other dancers and learn some fun line dances or just come for the physical activity. Our line dance classes are not just “Country Line Dancing”. We will play great music of all genres like Country, Top 40, Hip Hop, Ballroom, Blues, Funky, Latin, Irish, Swing and much more. You never need a partner but you can bring all your friends and have a lot of fun.

Drums Alive

Drums Alive combines traditional aerobic movements with the powerful beat and rhythm of drums. Instead of beating on a drum, however, you will use a large exercise ball with a pair of drumsticks. This class is for everyone regardless of age, fitness level, or physical limitations.

Shuffleboard

Floor shuffleboard is a game in which players use a pole- called a cue- to drive a flat, circular disc across the floor to a scoring box. Two people or teams can play floor shuffleboard against one another and try to prevent each other from scoring. Court availability subject to change. Walking Club - NEW!

Looking for new ways to motivate yourself to get moving? Walking is one of the easiet, safest, and least expensive forms of exercise. Don’t want to walk alone? Come join the Reh-Fit Walking Club. Walk with other members on our cushioned indoor track.

Getting support from others by walking together can actually help you stick with your health and fitness goals. All you need is a good pair of walking shows and your water.
