This one-hour clinic will teach you the principles of weight training along with how to use and set up of some of the equipment. Please come dressed for physical activity. Register ahead at the Reception Desk.

Condition the whole body using boxing techniques to get you in “fighting” shape. This one-hour program will build muscular and cardiovascular endurance, balance, agility and coordination. This class is a great workout for everyone and no boxing experience is required!
*For hygienic and safety reasons, boxing wraps are required if using the Reh-Fit Centre’s boxing gloves. Boxing wraps are available for purchase at the Reception Desk.

Discover the fun of badminton and add a little variety to your workout. Perfect for beginners or if you need to brush up on your skills. This two-hour clinic will teach the basics of badminton. We encourage you to bring your own racquet as a limited number of the Centre's racquets will be available.

No partner is necessary in this dance class. You will learn simple routines choreographed in different styles such as Broadway Jazz, Tango, Arabian and more. No previous dance experience is required for this class.

You can’t stop getting older but you can fight the aging process with a healthy lifestyle. Keep an active body and mind through participation in a group exercise class followed by information about healthy aging and disease prevention. You will learn exercises to build and maintain strength, flexibility, and endurance. Bring a bag lunch or purchase a lunch from the Heart Rock Café to enjoy after class while you chat on a variety of topics.

This easy to complete assessment takes place in a small group setting. You will receive an evaluation of posture, areas of weakness for balance and stabilization, golf specific flexibility and muscular endurance as well as an observation of posture during the swing. A discussion of how to make changes to your fitness program for improvements will be included.

Love Group Power and want to take your workout to the next level? In this small group workshop we will review technique of the exercises used in the upcoming Group Power release. We will look at your lifting technique and show you how to make adjustments to see results more quickly.

Have you been looking into the studio at all the barbells being lifted and wondering what that class is all about? It might surprise you that almost anyone can do Group Power. Find out what makes this program unique , experience the music, and learn the basic exercises and techniques that are part of the Group Power program. This small group session will provide you with lots of indiidual support from the instructor.

Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow runners and benefit from weekly workouts, cross-training opportunities, and professional coaching support as you prepare for distance running. The club meets Thursdays at 6:45 pm from November 5 until the end of June. All fitness levels are welcome. It’s never to late to join. Club registration is $55 annually.

This adapted fitness program is geared to those individuals who have had a stroke or suffer from another chronic disease that limits mobility. Classes are kept small for individual attention. Friendly staff create a social environment where you can learn exercises to improve or maintain your range of motion, flexibility, and strength.
