Boxing Fitness

Condition the whole body using boxing techniques to get you in “fighting” shape. This one-hour program will build muscular and cardiovascular endurance, balance, agility and coordination. This class is a great workout for everyone and no boxing experience is required!

*For hygienic and safety reasons, boxing wraps are required if using the Reh-Fit Centre’s boxing gloves. Boxing wraps are available for purchase at the Reception Desk.

lEARN TO RUN

You have always wanted to run but haven't known where to start. This program will teach you about running in hot and cold weather, nutrition, goal setting, how to avoid injury, pacing, and much more. Our goal is to have you be able to run for 20 minutes by the end of this clinic with a gradual progression of run and walk breaks. You will receive a weekly talk or presentation followed by a practice run on the Reh-Fit Centre's beautiful indoor track. You will also receive access to the Running Room's on-line clinic program

HEART THROBS RUNNING CLUB

Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow runners and benefit from weekly workouts, cross-training opportunities, and professional coaching support as you prepare for distance running. The club meets Thursdays at 6:45 pm from November 5 until the end of June. All fitness levels are welcome. It’s never to late to join. Club registration is $55 annually.

ADAPTED FITNESS

This adapted fitness program is geared to those individuals who have had a stroke or suffer from another chronic disease that limits mobility. Classes are kept small for individual attention. Friendly staff create a social environment where you can learn exercises to improve or maintain your range of motion, flexibility, and strength.
