Walk of Life & Health Fair

Friday, October 14, 2011 was a great day at the Centre. Congratulations to all of our members that participated in the 2011 Walk of Life. This event was sponsored in part by MTS and Blue Cross. It helped raised funds and awareness for Cardiac Services at the Reh-Fit Centre.

We finished the day with our Member barbecue. Thank you to all our volunteers for helping to keep us organized and FoodFare for keeping us well feed. A special thank you to Kate Gajdosik from Global Winnipeg for emceeing the event and helping with our Rainbow Auction Draws.

Feb 5 10:45 am Group Power This 60-minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors. With simple, athletic movements, such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels.
Feb 5 11:00 am Indo-Row A rowing class that's easy to learn, full of energy, and puts life into your fitness routine. Class size is limited. Please pick up a tag from the Reception Desk. Tags are available one hour prior to the start of class.
Feb 5 12:00 pm The Ride Group cycling provides you with a fun and effective workout that will improve cardiovascular fitness, tone your legs and buttocks, reduce stress and burn calories! You are in control of your speed and resistance, so you control the intensity of the workout. Get energized by our instructors and the other participants as you cycle through ever changing terrain without leaving the Centre. Those new to cycling should arrive a few minutes early so the instructor can demonstrate how to set up the bike. Moderate Fitness Level Dedicated cardio component included
