Introduction to Meditation
Research shows meditation to be an effective way to counteract stress, manage pain, and enhance well-being. Experienced meditator Judith Burch introduces some simple meditation exercises using the breath, to enhance one’s ability to relax the body, quiet the mind, and “go with the flow”.

Managing Stress, Pain, & Illness through Meditation
Meditation has been shown by medical researchers to be an easy and effective way to counteract the negative effects of stress and manage pain and illness. Current research confirms that regular meditation creates changes in the brain that results in improved attention and focus. Participants will be introduced to some simple meditation techniques.
