This session will review the most common shoulder pathologies and a wide variety of non-surgical treatment options for shoulder pain. Topics for discussion will include the worst exercises that are commonly performed, and the best exercises to strengthen and stabilize the rotator cuff.

Alex Hutchinson is a columnist for the Globe and Mail and Runner’s World, covering the science of fitness and exercise. Before becoming a journalist, he completed a Ph.D. in physics and competed for Canada as a long-distance runner. He lives in Toronto.

Teams of two – Casual and Competitive
Registration Fee: $10 per person
Registration Deadline: Friday, November 10
Casual Division: 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
Competitive Division: 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Please note: All games are to 15 points with a twenty-minute cap. Games will be scheduled so all games played by a casual team will be completed within a 1.5 hour period, and all games played by a competitive team within a three hour period. Casual Division will play two games. Competitive Division teams guaranteed a minimum of two games.
Prizes and raffle draw at the event.
All proceeds from Pickle for a Cure will go to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
