The last class of our second complimentary Summer Yoga Series is approaching, and what a fantastic series it’s been! Our Open Air outdoor space has been alive with the energy of yoga all summer long, and it’s been wonderful to see so many new faces.
We hope you had a chance to meet some of our yoga instructors at the Centre: Leigh, Evan, and Debbie. We are so grateful for their enthusiasm throughout this series.
Yoga offers a multitude of benefits, from improving flexibility and strength to enhancing mental clarity and reducing stress. For many, it’s not just a physical practice but a way to find balance and peace. This series was designed with those benefits in mind. In addition, it offers a beginner-friendly environment, and a great chance to explore yoga at your own pace.
"I love the opportunity to treat Reh-Fit members to Yoga in the Tent - the sounds, the breeze, the warmth of a beautiful Winnipeg summer day. It was so perfect!” Shared Leigh.
While the series is complimentary, we invited attendees to bring an item for donation, supporting a local organization dedicated to enhancing our community's health and well-being.
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who supported the Fort Garry Women’s Resource Centre by bringing items from their donation list. Your generosity has made a significant difference in their ability to provide essential community health and well-being services.
“It’s because of generous donors like you that we’re able to meet this demand for service and celebrate over 40 years of service to the community. Ultimately, by donating you’re supporting us to grow and continue to serve as a safe space where participants can heal, make positive change, and create a better life for themselves and their families,” shared Colleen, Public Education & Communications Coordinator.
“We truly believe that together we can make an impact and help our community thrive.”
We appreciate all who participated, donated, and supported this initiative. Together, we’ve made a positive impact on both personal health and community well-being.
Stay tuned for more events and opportunities to be active and connect!
