What is involved in Meal Planning?
Meal Planning includes a one-hour consultation with our registered dietitian and access to weekly meal plans — including recipes and grocery lists for three months.
What is included in the initial appointment?
Your one-hour consultation with our dietitian will include a nutritional assessment and the set up of your profile in EatLove, our meal planning software. Together, you will create a plan specifically tailored to you based on considerations such as how many people you're cooking for, how long you'd like to spend in the kitchen, which appliances you have, your taste preferences, how often you grocery shop, and whether or not you'd like leftovers.
How much does it cost?
The cost for Meal Planning is $200 plus taxes, including the nutrition consultation and 24 weeks access to your customzed meal plans through EatLove.
Is the cost covered by my health insurance?
In many cases, yes! Nutrition counselling, including meal planning, delivered by a registered dietitian may be covered under third-party insurance. Check with your insurance provider to learn more.
What diet and lifestyles goals are covered?
General healthy eating, eat more veggies, lose weight, endurance, bone health, high fiber, increase energy, low carb, low car/high fat, low sodium and muscle gain.
Can I include my family members in the meal plan?
How flexible is the meal plan?
You can do meal substitutions, edit food preferences, and customize it according to your needs. When available, you can even select restaurant choices with the option of delivery!
I am managing a chronic condition ahd/or may be pregnant. Can I customize my meal plan?
Absolutely. Working with a registered dietitian, you can be confident in the recommendations provided to you. Your meal plan can be customzed to manage the following conditions:

What do I need to access my meal plan?
You can access your meal plan on a computer, tablet, or cell phone to access your weekly meal plans and recipes online.

EatLove is high quality, interactive meal planning tool that provides personalized recommendations and access to recipes, menus, and grocery lists, as well as nutrition tips. It allows you to have a customized experience based on your food preferences, allergies and food avoidances, lifestyle, and health goals. Our registered dietitian will provide you with your nutrition prescription taking into consideration your height, weight, medical condition, eating habits and cooking skills. You will then receive a weekly menu plan complete with recipes, a detailed shopping list and nutritional information.
Where can I learn more about how to use EatLove?
When you book an appointment, you will receive an invitation link to access the website and be able to begin exploring its content. There is also a tutorial video that provides further information and instruction. During your appointment, your dietitian is always available to answer any further questions you might have.
