Transforming into a larger centre of well-being
After years of research and planning, the Reh-Fit Centre is well positioned to double its size and community impact through a potential $145 million renovation and expansion.
Reh-Fit envisions an exciting transformation into a larger centre of well-being to address its capacity issue and meet the growing demand for community-based health promotion and prevention while easing pressure on our healthcare system.
The Impact
Research shows that Manitobans who attend a certified medical fitness facility like Reh-Fit experience significantly reduced risks of death, hospitalization, dementia, and major cardiac events as well improvements in mental health. With more than 298,000 visits in 2025-26, Reh-Fit already makes a measurable difference—but demand continues to grow.
A larger centre of well-being would allow Reh-Fit to help more Manitobans prevent chronic conditions, manage their health, prepare for and recover from surgery, connect with their community, and learn how to care for their ONE BODY FOR LIFE.
We envision more space to nurture all dimensions of well-being:
