Yoga and Mindfulness at Reh-Fit
Some are surpised to learn there is a specialized yoga and meditation program at the Reh-Fit Centre. We are known for our specialty yoga classes, including classes designed for those facing limitations or health conditions. Wherever you are at, there is a class for you. We empower each person to modify postures and develop body awareness for lasting results.
In addition to our weekly class schedule, you will find specialty offerings like meditation workshops, specialty yoga classes, and more.
Yoga and Mindfulness programs at Reh-Fit are open to both members and non-members. Reh-Fit members enjoy special member rates and priority registration for classes, programs, and workshops.
Registered Classes & Programs
Supplementary to membership by registering for multi-week session(s).
A focus on body awareness, proper posture, correct breathing, improving balance, flexibility, and a range of motion. All poses can be done from a chair.
Sweet and simple soft flow. Explore breath and movement at a slow pace. Emphasis on long soft stretching and gentle whole body opening.
A 45-minute instructor-guided meditation practice. Learn to tap into each moment in life and meet it with calmness.
Yoga Hip & Knee
Taught by a physiotherapist, this class will focus on strengthening and stretching hips and knees. Great for those who completed our Stronger Hip & Knee program.
Yoga For Persistent Back Pain
Taught by a physiotherapist, this class will focus on strengthening and stretching your back.
A therapeutic yoga class with emphasis on long holds and passive stretches on the deeper connective tissues of the body.
This one-hour class involves foam rolling and stretching from head to toe to improve your flexibility and mobility. Taught by a certified athletic therapist, you'll learn how to stretch each muscle correctly and efficiently.
