This has been a very tough two years for everyone. We have been constantly adjusting our behaviors as new information was released to us on how to keep each other healthy and to protect our health care system from being overburdened. We are proposing a gradual, cautious approach at Reh-Fit to see how things unfold in the community and to help everyone adjust and feel safe.
Proof of Vaccination:
- The province has announced the forthcoming removal of all proof of vaccination requirements effective March 1, 2022. This means vaccination cards will no longer be needed to enter certain public spaces such as fitness facilities.
- At this time, however, Reh-Fit will continue to require proof of vaccination of members, employees, and guests as a cautionary measure.
Mandatory Masks:
- The province has announced the forthcoming removal of mask mandates, effective March 15, 2022. This means individuals will no longer be required to wear masks in certain public spaces such as fitness facilities.
- At this time, however, Reh-Fit will continue to require masks to be worn in all common areas such as the locker rooms. Wearing face masks while actively exercising will continue to be optional. They are not required while showering, in the sauna, and when eating/drinking but are required when moving throughout the facility, including to and from the exercise areas, showers, and sauna.
We ask that if you have any symptoms, please postpone your visit to the Centre and consult the COVID-19 Screening Tool.
We will continue to encourage spacing in our group fitness classes and will be keeping the equipment dividers up. We ask that you maintain at least a six-foot distance from others and recommend more distance when exercising and/or not wearing a mask.
Good health habits, such as washing your hands frequently and/or using hand sanitizer, should be continued. We will be maintaining our cleaning and disinfecting protocols going forward throughout the Centre.
We thank you for your cooperation as we continue with this cautious approach to prioritize the health and safety of our community.
